Foxes tend toward average builds and agile bodies.

In general, Foxes are clever, cunning, calculating yet impulsive, and enjoy life.

The Fox lands are very varied in terms of topography. From high mountains to broad valleys and flat plains. The largest river in the realms is found here. Their lands consist of a core of broad, fertile coastal plains and a wide river valley that runs to the north. This valley, while fertile, is prone to cold, harsh winter winds that funnel southward through this valley.

The climate in the valley and south of it is temperate continental forest, their lands to the west are maquis, and to the far east are temperate oceanic forest.

The fox lands border more other territories than any other. In the south they border Ashstone, in the west the Weasels and Badgers, and in the north the Wolves and Bears. They have a defined border with Ashstone and the Wolves, an open, undefined border with the Weasels and Badgers, and are at war over their border with the Bears.

The Foxes tend toward lavishness and extravagant, particularly in the cities. Their merchanting and trade networks are second only to Ashstone's. Foxes excel at exploration and their kingdom has recently founded settlements on other landmasses. Theirs is the only nation on good terms with the Weasels. They maintain good trade relations with everyone apart from the Bears, to whom they recently lost territory to.

The foxes have relatively recently joined forces with the wolves against the bears. Apart from that, they generally get along with the others, apart from historical conflicts with the wolves.

Foxes like names that imply cleverness, wit, jobs, and style

The Fox nation is known for its copper, produce, woodcarving, brass instruments, timber, agricultural products, wine, and gemstones. The Foxes supply most of the fresh fruits and vegetables to Ashstone.
